The most popular aftermarket replacements also have a critical flaw: if the vacuum lines ever fail or leak, they may not naturally release boost because they rely on vacuum actuation rather than spring pressure.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTurbosmart diverter valves are spring-based, so even if a vacuum line fails, they can still release boost, helping prevent a dangerous overboost situation.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is hands down my favorite mod so far.
